Mr Eazi has smashed borders and marked his space in the music industry as the next artiste the world should be listening to.
Last night, the Star Boy Worldwide artiste, who was recently crowned Apple Music Up Next star, made his debut appearance on The Late Show With James Corden.
The singer performed a medley of songs – In the Morning and Leg Over — from his Lagos to Accra mixtape, and this earned him a standing ovation from the audience.
This heartwarming update came just days after the superstar gave necessary clarification on his business deal with Wizkid.
Recall that many people had assumed he was signed to the Ojuelegba singer’s record label, but Mr Eazi set the records straight during an interview with a Ghanaian radio station.
“Star Boy Worldwide is a collective organisation specifically to push African music worldwide. What it means is that we are in business together. Everybody is in business together. I feel like I am the one getting the most because, all these guys put out a platform that is serious. So, when I get into a meeting and say ‘Star Boy Worldwide’, they will say, ‘oh, Wizkid, Efya..for this guy to be in the same platform..“, he continued, before adding, “We are all partners,” he said.
And that partnership is paying off.
Presently, Wizkid and Mr Eazi is only African artiste getting the highest radio time in the UK; Wizkid comes first, and Mr Eazi follows next.
Now, the Skin Tight singer has made a debut on James Corden’s show, and it is super awesome.
